Guaitiao designs and leads arts-based service programs in San Juan de la Maguana, a city in the Dominican Republic that epitomizes the relaxed, gracious attitude of the tropics. While primary beneficiary of our organization is the Rose of Sharon Orphanage, your organization will have the opportunity to share their gifts at a number of locations in and around San Juan. We work with community art guilds, church choirs, colleges, universities, conservatories, and professional music ensembles to create professional development service programs that are inspired by the unique talents of your group.
Our trips include transportation, lodging, meals, a customized itinerary, cultural activities, a guide who will travel with your group, and a final collaborative event in which visitors and residents join force to give a concert, paint a mural, or write a poem.
